Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MicroByte Innovations FZCO (“AITally.me”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use AITally.me and related websites, applications, and services (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
AITally.me is a unified workspace that lets you access, compare, and use multiple third-party artificial-intelligence models through a single interface. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the companies that build the underlying models (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others). When you use the Service, your inputs are transmitted to the model provider you select so that they can generate a response.
AITally.me is one of the AI products operated by MicroByte Innovations FZCO (“MBI”), a free-zone company in the United Arab Emirates. The data controller responsible for your personal information is:
- MicroByte Innovations FZCO
- DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE
- support@aitally.me
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and profile details.
- Conversation content: the prompts, messages, files, images, and other inputs you submit, and the outputs returned to you (“Content”).
- Uploads: documents, images, or other files you choose to add to a conversation.
- Billing data: subscription tier and transaction records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Support and communications: messages you send us and survey or feedback responses.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: features used, models selected, session timestamps, and interaction events.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and crash/diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 9.
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (e.g. health, biometric, or government-ID data). Please avoid submitting such information in your prompts unless necessary, as it will be transmitted to the selected model provider.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including routing your prompts to the model you choose;
- authenticate you and secure your account;
- process subscriptions, payments, and invoices;
- provide customer support and respond to requests;
- monitor, debug, and improve performance, reliability, and safety;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies): performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention), your consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How your content interacts with AI model providers
This section is central to how AITally.me works:
- When you submit a prompt, message, or file and select a model, that Content is sent to the relevant third-party model provider to generate a response.
- Each provider processes your Content under its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
- We make commercially reasonable efforts to use provider access methods (e.g. business/enterprise API tiers) under which providers state they do not use submitted Content to train their models. Provider practices can change and are outside our control; we cannot guarantee a provider's processing.
- Current model providers and other sub-processors are available on request — contact privacy@aitally.me.
Do not submit any information through the Service that you are not permitted to disclose to a third-party processor.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Model providers — to generate responses, as described in Section 4.
- Sub-processors and service providers — cloud hosting, storage, analytics, email, customer support, and similar vendors acting on our instructions.
- Payment processors — to process subscriptions and payments.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or us.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed at the time.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Where “sale” or “sharing” is defined broadly under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, see Section 7 for your choices.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution obligations. Conversation Content is retained according to your account settings and our retention schedule; you can delete conversations, and we will delete associated data within a reasonable period unless retention is legally required.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information (“right to be forgotten”);
- port your information to another service;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- opt out of “sale”/“sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising (CCPA/CPRA and similar);
- not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, contact privacy@aitally.me. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (for example, your EU/UK supervisory authority, or — for users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) under the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and in the UAE the relevant authority under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
8. International data transfers
We and our sub-processors may process personal information in countries other than your own, including where the model providers operate. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms required by applicable law.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the Service. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function.
10. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, notify you of material changes.
